SVCIT Included in 2026 BRICS TVET Cooperation Program

Recently, the China Education Association for International Exchange released the list of selected projects for the 2026 BRICS TVET Cooperation Program. The China-India IoT Technology Student Exchange Program submitted by our college was successfully selected and granted special funding.

It is reported that the BRICS TVET Cooperation Alliance is an international cooperative organization established with the support and guidance of the vocational education authorities of the five BRICS countries. Its members include industrial organizations, vocational colleges, research institutions and enterprises from all member states, and our college is one of the founding members.

The BRICS TVET Cooperation Program is a multilateral international vocational education initiative implemented under the framework of the BRICS TVET Cooperation Alliance. This year, a total of four institutions nationwide have been approved for project establishment, including one from Sichuan Province.

Since 2018, our college has carried out English-taught course exchanges for electronic information majors with Techno International Group (India). More than 60 teachers and students have participated in the programs, which has played a positive role in jointly cultivating skilled talents and deepening bilateral exchanges and cooperation between China and India.

Going forward, taking the China-India cooperation project as the starting point, the college will give full play to its exemplary and leading role as well as radiating influence, and contribute the strength of SVCIT to in-depth cooperation and mutual benefit among BRICS countries in vocational education.
